A 13-year-old lion was killed by a hunter in Zimbabwe after paying a $55.000 bribe to wildlife guides.
The lion, named Cecil, was a major tourist attraction at Zimbabwe’s famous Hwange National Park.
It's alleged that a Spaniard was behind the killing and the investigations are on-going to establish the reasons behind the killing.
The Iconic lion was shot with a bow and arrow and rifle, before being beheaded and skinned, reports say.
