Rwanda’s parliament started a national tour aimed to consult citizens on possible constitutional changes that would allow Paul Kagame a third term in office.
Lawmakers last week unanimously voted in support of constitutional change, backing a petition signed by millions of people.
The move comes amid wider controversies in Africa related to efforts by leaders to change constitutions in order to stay in office.
